This top offshore law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate, with experience in high level Financial Services regulatory matters, to join their top-level team in Bermuda. The role will provide exposure to some of the best, evolving offshore legal work in the market, and entails working as part of, and supported by, a highly successful and collegiate team. Key aspects of the role will include advising large/global financial institutions, across the banking, insurance, investment funds, digital asset, fiduciary and securities investment sectors (often working in tandem with other leading international law firms), on existing and new regulations (both domestic and international) which may impact upon their activities in Bermuda, and which may include, for example, include advice on how best to maintain compliance with relevant FS regulations, as well as licensing requirements, marketing restrictions and reporting requirements. Although this is primarily a non-contentious role, there may also be a need to also assist with regulatory enforcement matters occasionally, such as advice on potential exposure/implications of an investigation/enquiry, negotiating settlements and defending/advising on enforcement actions and court appeals. The team are seeking someone with high-level experience, ideally gained within a leading law firm, or top 4 accountancy firm, in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction, along with a first rate academic background, who is seeking an exciting and varied, long-term, international career opportunity.  Applicants will need at least 3 years' relevant post-qualifying experience, along with an offshore, UK or Commonwealth legal qualification. Familiarity with the Bermudan FS regulatory regime, as well as new and evolving regulatory areas (and equivalent regimes in other jurisdictions) would be highly beneficial. A highly competitive, tax free, package is on offer, which combines with the fantastic lifestyle benefits available in Bermuda. The role also carries excellent future prospects within this thriving team and practice.  Don't miss this stand-out international opportunity - please apply now for details!
