This major UK and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Construction Disputes lawyer to join their thriving and top-level Gulf Construction Disputes practice to assist in building their Dubai offering. The firm's market leading Gulf team advise top regional owners and developers, as well as leading international contractors, on complex and big-ticket Construction Disputes (several over USD1 billion) concerning major Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation and broader PPP projects. This particular role will involve working as part of a team most predominantly engaged on substantial UAE court litigation and international arbitration disputes concerning major projects in the UAE. For this position, applicants will need to have excellent written and spoken Arabic language skills, alongside UAE court litigation experience, which includes appearing before court-appointed experts. Experience of drafting case pleadings and other relevant documents will also be needed, alongside the ability to support major Arabic and English language arbitration cases with civil law advice.
